Seeds of Hope Daily Devotionals

It was in 1960 that many of the friends of the Sower began to request that Michael make some of his materials available in print. They had listened to him over the radio and watched him on television. As Michael, Audrey and the Staff began to pray for a way to grow the ministry and reach more people with the Good News of Jesus Christ, God laid it on their hearts to begin a print ministry. With an old Gestetner Mimeograph Machine that produced one side of one page at a time with the run of a hand-held crank, the first edition of Sowing and Reaping was published in 1960. The Lord then laid on their hearts the great opportunities that would be available in newspapers, and so they began to send copies of material that Dr. Guido had written across the country. The response was overwhelming.

In 1977, the first devotional booklet, "Seeds from the Sower" was published, followed two years later by the introduction of the monthly sermons.  After years of the original publication, which were the printed copies of the radio messages, the format and name were changed to attract readers to the message of hope provided through Christ and presented through Scripture; today, "Seeds of Hope” are distributed worldwide!

What Makes Seeds of Hope different from other devotionals?

Our Seeds are everyday devotionals for everyday people.  They are written to be personal and practical instead of intellectual and academic, making the themes more relatable and easier for the reader to apply in their daily lives. Each Seed follows a simple time-tested composition that leads readers to experience the power of invocation.

  • Illustration to gain curiosity or interest

  • Information to clarify, expand or explain an important Biblical concept

  • Invitation to take immediate action in their lives

  • Invocation for receiving the spiritual presence and blessings of God
